Who We Are

For more than 16 years, Transit has been sharing Jesus' love in practical ways - through food, friendship and support.

We welcome families and individuals doing it tough with a hot meal, free groceries and genuine connection. Our heart is to offer dignity and hope to everyone who walks through our doors.

While Transit doesn’t provide crisis accommodation, housing support, drug and alcohol treatment, or mental health services, we do offer a steady place for people to rebuild confidence and reconnect with the specialist services designed to help them.

  • Mondays

    Dinner @ 4:45pm

    Free three course sit down meal, all are welcome.

    Please arrive no earlier than 4.30pm. Doors close at 5.00pm

    Groceries Collection @ 6:15pm - 7:00pm (sharp). Please bring your own bags.

    We offer groceries, bread, fruit and vegetables, dairy and meat (as available). Pet food is usually in stock.

  • Wednesdays

    Lunch @ 11:45am

    Free three course sit down meal, all are welcome.

    Please arrive no earlier than 11.30am. Doors close at 12:00pm

    Groceries Collection @ 1:15pm - 3:00pm (sharp). Please bring your own bags.

    Please note: There is no parking available on-site, as all spaces are reserved for nearby businesses. You will be kindly asked to move your vehicle if parked inside. Best parking is in Webb street and nearby side streets.

    Enjoy a full cooked breakfast and a morning of community, friendship, and fellowship on the last Sunday of each month (excluding December & January) at 9:30am.

  • Guest Services

    Transit offers food support and a range of other helpful services onsite for registered guests. Availability varies, and some services have specific dates and eligibility.
